the Default Database Folder box
NOTE: The path must be valid, and the folder must already exist. If nothing is specified in the 'Default Database Folder' box, Access defaults to the 'My Documents' folder.
4) Do one of the following:
a) Click 'Apply' to apply the new default folder and keep the 'Options' dialog box open.
NOTE: Click 'Apply' when there are changes that need to be made to settings on another tab. This avoids having to re-open the 'Options' dialog box.
b) Click 'OK' to apply the new settings and close the 'Options' dialog box.
